If you know the artist Lil Boosie, then you know the song “Touchdown To Cause Hell” is an instant classic. Even though the song is fairly short, he gets his message across over the very eerie instrumental that fits his style perfectly. This entire song is about how the things that he has made it through made him even stronger and harder in the streets. He talks about all the things that you would know about if you were from the streets. This track made a statement the minute that it came out: don’t mess with Boosie because he don’t play around.

He addresses the fact that he lost his father figure at a young age and asks the listener what they would do if they were in the same situation. Not to mention the people that hated on him made things even more difficult. He does not hesitate to say things like “I cut ya throat, take ya house, that’s that Soulja Slim talk.” The chorus on this track is self-explanatory – he touches down to cause hell when he needs to, plain and simple. Other lyrics like “And I told myself I wasn’t going to go to jail but I lied, now my mama on her knees and she cryin” are just straight up real.

There was a music video that was created for the Touch Down To Cause Hell track, which was definitely needed. The entire video was shot in the hood (West Garfield Street stand up) that he came from in Baton Rouge Louisiana. They love him because he made it and he sets a good example by giving back. He’s got all his friends in the video (many of whom are in other videos with him as well).

The thing that a lot of people like about this video is that he’s got a lot of the kids in there. Lil Boosie loves the children and always tries to help them out. This is one of the coldest underground tracks to have been released on the Lil Boosie mixtapes scene. So will you be able to find this joint on any albums? Nope – but you can find it on some of his mixtapes, including the Lil Boosie Bad Azz a.k.a. Hollywood Hatchet mixtape that came out with DJ Rell. Most fans probably have had this track in their collection for awhile now.
